Cookie Policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. The text files are used to store particular interactions when you browse a website by storing data that may be updated and retrieved. These text files are stored on the User’s computer and contain anonymous data that are not harmful to your equipment. They are used to record the User’s preferences, such as the language selected, login details or page customisation.
The Cookies may also be used to store anonymous information about how the visitor uses the website, such as, for example, which web page you have accessed, or if you have clicked on an advertising “banner” to visit
How do we use the different types of cookies?
Depending on their purpose:
- Technical Cookies: Technical cookies enable the User’s browsing and the use of different options or services offered by the website, such as identifying the session, allowing access to certain areas, enabling orders, making purchases, filling in forms, registering, ensuring security, and providing features (videos, social media, etc.).
- Customisation Cookies: Customisation cookies allow the User to access services according to their preferences (language, browser, settings, etc.).
- Analytics cookies: Analytics cookies are used to perform an anonymous analysis of the User’s behaviour, measure their activity, and allow the creation of browsing profiles to improve the websites.
- Advertising Cookies: Advertising cookies manage advertising space on the website. Also, these cookies may offer personalised advertising and therefore manage advertising spaces based on the User’s browsing habits and behaviour. This profiling enables the customisation of ads displayed on their browser or other profiles and social network sites.
Depending on their expiry:
- Session Cookies: Session cookies last for as long as the User is browsing the web page and are deleted when the browser is closed.
- Persistent Cookies: These cookies are stored on the User’s computer until they are manually deleted or their browser deletes them based on the duration period contained within the cookie’s file.
Depending on their ownership:
- First-party Cookies: These are sent to the User’s device from a system or domain managed by the editor itself, and from which the service requested by the User is provided.
- CThird-party Cookies: These are cookies that are sent to the User’s computer terminal from a computer or domain that is not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
